The Gen Why Project began when Rich German asked a simple yet perplexing question: Why are there over 1.6 million homeless children in the wealthiest country on the planet? Seeking answers, Rich wanted to to shine light on this hidden reality and create real solutions for the children who have no voice. In addition to his charity work, Rich is a best-selling author and a highly sought-after business and lifestyle coach.
Christine Brooke is the founder of the non-profit Dreamweaver foundation and is active as a mentor in the lives of underserved teens. Christine developed Dreamweaver to support and enfranchise at-risk foster care youth. In joining Gen Why Project she brings her personal experience as a teen in foster care as well as her passion for empowering youth to live a life they love. She has served professionally as a healthcare provider and is devoted to volunteering her time to underserved communities and mentoring as a Big Sister. She currently sits as Chapter Member Outreach Chair on the board of Foster Care Alumni of America. Christine has been instrumental in the creative, marketing and collaborative process of the Gen Why Project project and is committed to making a difference in the lives of homeless youth.
Adam has always been dedicated to supporting the under-served youth of the world. In college he volunteered in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where he helped rebuild an orphanage and teach English, later spent a year as a mentor for Autistic kids in San Diego and has spent the past 6 years as a mentor for homeless and foster youth in Southern California . Adam is currently Director of Grow Awareness Agency based in Long Beach California which aims to create positive change through filmmaking and community engagement. www.GrowAwareness.com
